Cardi B Wins Court Battle Against YouTuber Tasha K

Rapper Cardi B has won an injunction forcing a YouTuber to delete and not repost defamatory movies about her.

It comes just months after the "Bodak Yellow" rapper won a £2m lawsuit against Latasha Kebe, higher known online as Tasha K. The YouTuber should now remove over 20 movies.

A court file has dictated that Kebe will have to delete 21 movies on the video sharing web page in the next 5 days and any other content associated with the star on social media. She hosts gossip web site UnWineWithTashaK which has one million subscribers on YouTube

The report also says that Cardi B, whose actual identify is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, used to be subjected to a "malicious campaign" of false accusations.

During the trial, lawyers for the "WAP" singer, said Kebe had waged "a campaign to damage and destroy [Cardi B's] reputation among her fans and the consuming public".

In the original case, Cardi B's legal professionals stated that Kebe started making "degrading and harassing statements" in early 2018 and persevered to do so, at one point incorrectly claiming the famous person had labored as a prostitute.

Cardi B's legal professionals mentioned the feedback and videos on Kebe's channel caused the singer "embarrassment, humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional distress".

A pass judgement on has now banned Kebe from making online statements about Cardi B's sexual well being and personal existence. The injunction had been agreed upon by way of either side and used to be a product of what the award-winning rapper described as a “constant ongoing danger” to her.

Following a January trial, a jury in the state of Georgia sided with Cardi B, holding Kebe liable for defamation, false light, and intentional infliction of emotional misery.

Kebe was once then ordered to pay the 29-year-old famous person just over $4m in damages and felony charges. Kebe is appealing this original verdict. Tasha adamantly claimed in a video that Cardi would never see a penny of the owed $Four million. If the appeals court overturns the decision, the injunction may also be revoked so the movies won't wish to be got rid of.

Cardi also hit headlines this week for deleting her social media accounts after fighting with lovers over the loss of new song and public appearances.
